Only 20 km from Aix, when arriving at Valmousse, the visitor is first struck by the distinct historic and architectural character that escapes from the immense 45 metre façade of the castle, whith the 25 windows majestically reflecting on the large pool.
He then allows himself to be filled with an impressive feeling of space while wandering through the rows of plane trees, the terraces and the lawn of the Orangery from where the view reaches the Sainte Victoire Mountain, before discovering the large Court of Honnor at the end of which hides the entrance to the Chapel.
